AI images are created in conversation with Carvaggio and made with prompts that question common perception of the portrayal of masculinity.
These action figures bring together the boundaries of fantasy, surrealism, the AI mirror, and science fiction. Drawing inspiration from speculative fiction, false stories of evolution, sexual selection, dreams, and mythology, these figures depict the creation of new gods that dance in queer delight around the themes of nature contrasted with data drawn from AI on the expectation of the human masculine form. Through the intricate details of each figure, the pieces are challenging assumptions about gender. These action figures are more than just toys; they represent a liberation for free minds, inviting us to explore the endless possibilities of our own imagination.
