Sensation Maps

This series uses layered transparencies to mark the movement of sensations through the body and kinesthetic space over time. Each piece serves as a map of synesthesia, showcasing the convergence of different sensational experiences and emotions into a portrait of felt experience. These paintings explore the interconnectedness of sensory experiences and the psyche by using color and form to trace a map of where each sound, smell, touch and feeling landed on the artist's body.
